The Nicholson Pipes and Drums are Orange County, California's own Scottish bagpipe band. Based in Westminster, California, the band was founded in 1981 by Pipe Major Kathleen Nicholson Graham. Now under the direction of Pipe Major Robert Hackney and Drum Sergeant Malcolm Willis, the Nicholsons perform at Scottish festivals and other events throughout California, and have been named the official band of the Clan Nicholson (MacNicol) worldwide.
